You can never not have enough flux thats cheap reassurance and plus it might look like a lot but im sure he only used a bit. Flux tends to spread rather quickly when heated up. Also high 5 on kester thats my favorite brand of solder its super high quality and makes things butter smooth while working. I've been buying up old stock on ebay and it works like new!

Excellent tutorial. However, I'd prefer you say "leaded" to low melt solder. Low melt solder is really low melt and makes a lot of jobs easier ...

my brother...how in this WORLD did you tin those traces like that without bridging anything? I'm working on an HDMI port right now for the first time and I'm bridging EVERYTHING. You brushed those poor bastards MULTIPLE TIMES and not only did they not bridge, but they are perfectly soldered. Your response is greatly appreciated...

what is a Reasonable Charge for this type of Repair Job .. I have a Broken HDMI port on a PS5 and Xbox series S ... I don't have the knowledge or tools to do it myself so I will need to pay a professional ... what would you say is a reasonable price .. so I Don't get over charged by someone ?

DO NOT TIN the the connectors on the motherboard. Tin the HDMI connector INSTEAD! It is better to mess up the connector than the motherboard. All the connectors on the motherboard will be soldered together if you try to tin from the motherboard!
