Today I am sharing my bible study resources + reading plans for 2023. This year I really plan on simplifying my bible study routine and just focus on reading God's word!

Yea I definitely agree with simplifying your bible study …it’s less stressful that way. I’m mostly focusing on reading the Bible & for bible study I wrote out like a list of specific topic I want an in-depth study on . If I have questions while studying I would quickly study that as well but each day I’ve decided to give myself grace! 😊 Love your videos by the way! Keep them coming 🎉

This year I’ve completely simplified my bible time in this season of my life I get very overwhelmed and I easily just give up… so I got a daily chronological bible .. so far I’ve been loving it !!

I would also recommend The Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible, The NLT Illustrating Bible, The Complete Jewish Study Bible, The Holy Land Illustrating Bible, a good Bible Dictionary, a solid basic study Bible like the ESV, a devotional version like She Reads Truth Bible, a basic journaling version like the CSB Notetaking Bible, and the Archaeological Study Bible along with a good Bible Atlas. A good basic commentary set is the Bible Knowledge Commentary Old and New Testament set. Last, the Thompson Chain Reference Bible.

I am laughing 🤣at the way you tried to explain the chronological bible, because you sound just like me, I struggle to explain it.

This year I'm reading the Bible chronologically. I'm using the Bible Recap plan on the bible app (YouVersion). There is also a YouTube channel and podcast where Tara will recap what we read, and also talk about what stood out to her.
Oh, I also use a chronological study bible.
