It was at that gazebo in 2019 where I learned that people were still dancing the Lindy Hop. When I returned home, I was shocked to learn from YouTube that this dance is still popular all around the world. I was set to volunteer at the International Lindy Hop Championship in NY last month but reconsidered due to Covid concerns. As it turned out, many people did contract covid there including several of my favorite competitors. I think I made the right decision.
