Показать описание
San Diego Java User's Group, April 16, 2013
Presenters: Ray Suliteanu and Joe Antonecchia
Speaking on: Leveraging Open Source Software to Build Enterprise Class Software
Abstract:
There are many open source libraries and frameworks available to developers. There's rarely a reason to build completely from scratch. At FICO, we recently released a new, organically developed product built largely using open source frameworks. In this presentation we will briefly outline the product requirements, and show how they were implemented using open source software, including Spring Batch, Spring Integration, Hibernate Search, Lucene and Hazelcast. This will not be a generic review of these open source projects. Rather, we will show real working usage, of these and more.
Bio: Joe Antonecchia, Sr. Manager, Fraud Banking Over 20 years experience in the software industry. Roles ranging from Lead Engineer, Consultant, Architect, SCRUM Master and Development Manager. 11 years locally at Peregrine/HP. Has been at FICO since November 2011.
Bio: Ray Suliteanu, Sr. Director, Fraud Banking Over 20 years experience building enterprise software, from Unix kernel development, to network backup, to automated loan origination decisioning and fraud detection, for companies in Silicon Valley -- like Amdahl and Legato Systems -- and San Diego -- like HNC Software/FICO and Peregrine/HP
