I did not find, under NVIDIA Corporation, any cache. The list of items you have on your system seems longer than mine. At any rate, NV_Cache is not there.

if anyone here is wondering about not having a NV_Cache file for on windows 10 or 11 go to searchbar and type in disk cleanup go to your main storage and select DX11 then just execute the cleanup

the problem is cause by shader cache size limit. on approaching the size limit, the nvidia will remove older shaders from the cache to make space for newer shaders; setting a size limit too small may cause the driver to remove shaders you still make use of and cause game play stutters. can be fixed by increase the shader cache size limit and if its start to feel stutter again u can clean up again. me personally set the size to unlimited (u can clean it up weekly or monthly), its depen on how many program that use shader

this really help, thank you. My RTX 4090 was facing problems with Unreal Engine Games. It fixed my "out of video memory" issue

Question, So I just recently upped my cache size to 10GB to speed things up. I do have 1 sec pauses occasionally now, but I'm not sure if it's the cache doing it. I know deleting cache can help if something is bugged, but what is the reason for dumping it if it's saved to speed things up later. Meaning, what causes the cache to cause problems?

ps. BTW no NV_Cache folder, Older drivers used to store it in I think %programdata%\NVIDIA Corporation\NV_Cache
