Love these Mary and good for you saying people can use the idea if they don’t have funds to purchase right now ❤️ That’s what the budgeting community is about, helping each other out! I’m in the UK so we have retirement savings options that are different to ROTH IRAs however I will use this idea to try and max out my ‘LISA’ which is one of the UK equivalents. Love your channel it motivates me to keep budgeting and saving! 😀

Thank you so much!! I just did my taxes with my hubby & we haven’t contributed to our Roth or even opened a Roth IRA. I just turned 59 on this past Saturday, Feb 24, 2024. You said something about maxing out your 401k before the tax period ends this year 2024. What do you recommend for both of us. My hubby is the one employed and he just turned 52 on Friday.
