Do you know why sometimes the rotation/nav cube disapears from the vieports?

I rotated a viewport's view using that one, but then when I tried on the other ones, the rotation wheel went disappeared.

4th one i use equal as mv setup is 3d 0rb, and then pressing and holding shift, while hovering over circle edge so i get cicle with dot, meaning it will rotate only by plane surface.. then pres andhold left click. .. and rotate as much as you like. i find that way very precise for what i need it.

When I was using the third method, the view was too big that I couldn't tell how much I wanted to rotate. Any way to solve this issue? thanks
