In this session of our 2023 Health Equity series, Tom Pryor (Staff Attorney at the Public Health Law Center) explains the components of effective and equitable policies to end the sale of harmful menthol and flavored commercial tobacco products.
Seven states and more than 370 cities and counties have enacted some type of flavors restriction law. Model policy language for effective and equitable restrictions on menthol and flavored products are explained, including components on key definitions, enforcement, and implementation.
