There is something deeply wrong about monks becoming depraved and corrupted, and this song really captures it. When a trusted group's skin is peeled off and you see the rot underneath, allowed to fester, uncontained, it is truly a disturbing sight. The hypocrisy, the abandoning of morals, the pursuing of goals that only serve oneself, in a place that should be one of community. Innocents like Kotaro are pushed aside without proper explanation, left confused and abandoned, bringing the pity of those not trapped in the monks' trickery. Reminds me of feminism.
