I am so pleased that you post so many helpful videos. FYI - the trickle charger for my 2003 Thunderbird failed this winter, battery died, AND the manual truck release didn't pop the trunk open. I was just about to start following your instructions for getting into the trunk when, on an impulse, I had my wife turn the key for the manual trunk open while I pulled up on the trunk lid ... and it opened! Hope this note helps someone else. Thank you Bob!
