Please briefly explain how the Magnet opens the door.
I ask because I have a 73 Buick Centurion I am doing an on-frame restore on so all the trunk locking hardware except the lower and upper latch has been removed, the trunk was accidentally shut and I can't find a way to open it. There is a built in speaker box blocking any entrance from the inside of the car not to mention the access from the back seat is full metal blocked. Also there is no electric solenoid installed as it was also removed. Can you please tell me how the magnet worked to open the door in your example. Appreciated!

And you probably don't want to keep the magnet/speaker in your trunk, if you think you may have to use said speaker someday to get into your trunk! Just a thought.

I left my key in mercedes slk250 it’s been 3 days got groceries in my trunk as well no one was able to help just security opened my car doors but car might be in valet mode center console and trunk won’t open, not even MB roadside assistance couldn’t help they don’t have specialized mechanic here in my area with MB computer.. I even removed my speaker from my car but it was too small.. I probably gonna go buy a big speaker 🔈 like yours .Do you think it would work on any car especially mercedes convertible slk 250 ?

What’s the magnetic pull on that magnet? I’m looking to buy one because my 2006 Honda Civic I can’t get into the trunk and I can’t access the keyhole and I can’t use the lever on the driver side. This was freaking awesome! Gave me hope. But I need to know how much magnetic pull I need to open my trunk!!
