San Marino is a lovely little country, well worth a day's visit when you are in the area. It has an attractive, well maintained castle and medieval type architecture. We enjoyed being there very much. I can't remember if they had their own money as we bought a meal and gifts using our cards.

Writing from my exile in the Quebec Republic, I wonder if perhaps the time has come for me to just give up on this rock. I hear the U.S.S. Clinton just finished a new affordable cylinder city out past Europa. Might be a good place to get away from this stupidity for a while.
