Brando has so many good relatively unknown films, and his performances are always great even in the not so good films. This was one of the better films and his performance is excellent.

i like 1966's"the chase", i had it once on VHS and i'd love it on DVD, this film is basically a big budget panavision mixture of soap opera and film noir with brando and a great cast at the top of their game.also, i'd love to see TCM get it and eddie muller host it on their noir alley movie.it's no"D.O.A."or"the asphalt jungle", but it has enough noir in it to satisfy fans of the genre!

it's very humiliating when the producer is mentioned on the top beginning of the trailer like he's the director of the movie nd the director is only mentioned at the end of the trailer on the bottom in tiny letters.. wht a cowardly situation for a director ..
not only that, he also accepted not to do the editing of his own movie.
