The mayo part is true. I hate mayo, but when I ate at a japanese restaurant I ordered takoyaki with kewpie mayo, and it was awesome❤

Our school literallyy just serves pizza, grilled cheese, chicken sandwiches, and that’s it. Literally our only meals available

Worked for a Japanese company in Japan, loved the katsu curry and soba noodle options at lunch with salad, icecream desert from company shop was the best!

American lunch: my high school in colorado would buy 3 dominos pizza for lunch and that was really the only thing that tasted okay. The "salad" was always one iceburg lettuce leaf and one cherry tomato. If they ran out of pizza before you got any you *could* get some other things but most of the food would actually make you sick. In texas it was a little better strangely. It wasnt healthy, but it was actually tasty and they would sort of have a "menu" at my school.

Those lunches look sooo good, we been sold microwave hamburgers in HS for lunch. Leave alone that they would feed us like this. Always loved the food in Japan.

It's so funny that cleaning after yourself is such a surprising thing for people in western countries. Crazy how culture like this differ. Watching American shows growing up was so funny because kids would sit ahd wait for their parents to bring their meals to their table and then wash their dishes for them. 😅😅😅 Where I come from you are going to be in the kitchen, dosh out the food, bring it to the table and wash all the dishes for your parents and elders.

I’m in Australia 🇦🇺 and me and my dad LOVE kewpie mayo! It is one of the best sauces/dressings (this is coming from a picky eater) 😊
