Just got a brand new Pro Max 15 and i have to do this update to finish setting it up. It’s updated but when you install it just loads up forever. I’ve already restarted it 3 times. Might as well go to the apple store see whats going on

Hey All,
I also had the same problem in my new iphone 15 and I resolved it by doing the below things.
1. When you setup newly don’t do the data transfer from your old iphone to new iphone. Directly setup your new iphone manually by entering your apple id and pwd. In that way ios 18 update will not be showing up and phone will be signing in successfully
2. Then go to settings and update your phone to latest 18.
3. Once your phone is updated to latest ios 18, reset your phone.
4. Lastly, switch on your phone after resetting and do the data transfer now from your old phone to new iPhone. Now, your device won’t ask to update to ios 18, as we already installed it in the 2nd step. Your new device will be backed up with everything you have in your old iphone. 😀.

Like, when you´re using iPhone, you can update to ios 18 but when you got a new iPhone and you want to set it up, it doesn´t work, the ios 18 update takes forever, and it doesn´t work even after long waiting, and you can´t use the new iPhone because its not set up!!
even might if i have chosen "continue with no data transfered", there would be the same window: update to ios 18, so it wouldn´t work as
