As One is the fourteenth studio album by the funk band Kool and the Gang, released in 1982. The album did not yield any #1 singles, but the song "Let's Go Dancin'" (~4:00) did make the top ten, peaking at #7 on the U.S. R&B chart and #6 on the UK Singles Chart.[2]

Why in the hell wasn't this song released as a single in the U.S.? Did the record prematurely give up on the album or was the bassline too funky for "pop" radio? The hook is here, the performance is on point.OTHER countries released it as a single while we ignored it.One of the best from the JT years without a doubt.
