Man, Wang beat Tomokazo so fast, that poor Harimoto did not even had time to scream.

When you push harimoto back from the table, he becomes very passive and just blocks.

Love or hate Harimoto, it's undeniable: the less point he wins, the more enjoyable the match is. You get my drift.

Thanks to WC for not letting Harimoto scream too much

Thank you for silencing that Screamoto! That kid's screams were ear piercing and had nothing to do with passion.

I love to watch the speed and spin in Wang Chuqin. Different to the power and stamina of Fan Zhendong and Ma Long.

PD: He needs a new haircut and a nail cutter, and he'd be lighter to move 😆

Outclassed in every way by WCQ. I'm honestly surprised Harimoto's coach has not fixed Harimoto's transition from backhand to forehand during rallies after so many years. For a pro player of his caliber Harimoto should not have such a glaring weakness. Between the two, WCQ's still stronger in every aspect.

Good job Wang Chuqin! You know its a great day whenever Harimoto loses.

you can tell who wins the point by the cheers

Harimoto beat WCQ last year because he let the forehand go fearlessly. Imagine being such a good player that you make it to the semi finals of the world champs using almost exclusively your backhand? He just seems like he has been almost putting himself out of position lately to use it and he needs the confidence to be a complete player on the forehand side.

Harimoto still unable to find answers to Wangs game after their many encounters

The screamer has to utilize his new weapon, forehand, more often. He doesn't take chance using his forehand. I think the reason why he didn't do this enough is because of his footwork. The screamer has good footwork when using his backhand and blocking. Once he used his forehand, he wouldn't move and adjust for the next shot. If the screamer's opponent returned his forehand drive, he lost the point. The screamer is a mature player now. If he can't figure out this problem, similar to his uncontrolled screaming, this is going to stay with him for the rest of his career. His father trained him to win matches by screaming and blocking shots at a young age. It will be a formidable task for the screamer to reinvent himself and his footwork to complement a potent forehand.

He beat Harimoto in U18 and won the tournament.
Once the GOAT is retired, he will be back boe of Chinese national team along with FZD.
All he needs to achieve grand slam is to be guided by head coach

The first set could go away quickly for Harimoto after the 4-0 lead. But Wang came back and won which killed the momentum for Tomokazu. The second set was also close but Wang played better in the big points. Then the third set with Wang continued to press and play better, the gap of winning became bigger. Tomo was completely unraveled in the final set. When he is quiet and not screaming with his head down. Finish him and that's what Wang did. Great final against Ma Long tomorrow.

Since when Harimoto became more passive?

Harimoto was so close for the first 3 games.... And for the last game he just, probably, decided that is it over.

harimoto seemed kinda lost this match i dont know. serves getting received strongly, getting way too passive during so many points, looked like wcq was two steps ahead every time
