they could never make me hate this musical i dont care, the way they are at each others throats to see who had it worse and then realize by the end they have more in common than they dont and decide to laugh it off is peak, i wish there was something like this in the movie

It's nice to see how Shrek and Fiona start arguing and then begin to connect when they realize that they both had similar childhoods when living in isolation.
And that ending with the war of gas and belching hahaha a worthy ending to the song that improves the scene of the movie

1:00 I love how you can visibly hear Sutton try not to laugh in that "I think I got you beat"

Donkey is my favorite both movie and musical. This was the first musical I did in high school and what got me out of my stage fright. Though I was a background character, it was such a blast to be in and watch from the side! 100% would redo and it makes me sad I didn't try theater sooner 🥺👏💗

It was at this moment when Shrek realized he and his future wife Fiona had something in common they both had equally horrendous childhoods where they were sent away from home 🏡 at and isolated for a long time ⌛⏲️ and enjoy making each other laugh my farting and belching

Just like they did with the roald Dahl story Matilda when they made the story into a movie then a musical and made the musical into a movie maybe they could do the same and make shrek the musical into a movie as well

Is it just me or does Shrek sound more Irish in this rather than Scottish like his voice and mannerism seems like he’s doing a Mrs Brown impression I’m not a bad one actually
