Kawasaki actually lowered the price on the 2025 KLX300 to $5, 449, down from $6, 199 ... crazy that something actually went down in price.

One thing the Honda CRF300L has a huge aftermarket options, along with Big bore kits, ECU, suspension. Hoping Yamaha builds a YZR350 as might have a WR350! That would be AWESOME!

Great vid. Thank you. I had a 21 300L and a 24 Klx 300 for 1 summer. Both great fun bikes, but I kept the KLX and sold the 300L.

The problem is shocks are expensive compared to foot pegs.
And the low end power is identical if you do the throttle plate delete on the klx.

I'm having flashbacks to a couple years ago lol. Looking forward to seeing reviews of the drz4s and 390 adv R. I can say that as a klx300 owner it's a great bike for the price and the suspension for me was perfect. Having good suspension from the factory is a big big deal. Sold the klx as it just didn't quite have enough power for me. I am not a novice rider so for others it will be fine. I am looking forward to the drz for this reason.

Both are great bikes. I prefer the Honda but you can't go wrong with either choice

Also, for 2025 in Europe Kawasaki has a KX300X model so hoping Honda/Suzuki/Yamaha at least get in on this and offer it in a 6 SPEED as could tag and put lights on it.

My crf300l will easily go 70 down the freeway. And it will do it all day long.

Just for kicks....remove the 2nd throttle body plate on the KLX300 and then compare the power delivery again. I'm guessing...based on my experience with my KLX300...it will be better than the CRF. There was major difference when under 7000 rpm. The KLX300R dirt only model does not have this 2nd plate. Would be a great follow up video to this one. For "off road" use only...of course.

KLX is superior to the CRF, had both for extensive time on and off-road. With that said the drz4s will outsell both quickly and easily if they don’t bump up the power

I had a crf300l and it had bad piston knock and very poor suspension for me so I sold it

The suspension is horrible on both Race Tech $250 solves problem.
