Base Slackware 15 doesn't have package dependency auto-resolving, adding my user to sudo group still doesn't have highly privileged commands in its scope, SW15 doesn't "see" my printer, Hibernate command from the KDE menu does regular shutdown instead, Lutris which I've specifically built for gaming doesn't list any wine-runners, so I had to use conty-lite (based off Arch)... KDE flavor of cdemu was not installed properly - I'm required to run a bunch of modprobe command every time I want to use it, and also start cdemu-daemon manually... Vanilla SW15 feels like mid-2000s for me, and I don't think I'll ever manage to force myself into liking it... Is Salix OS any different?

Great Job Jacinth on the presentation and the explaining of the Salix OS. Had downloaded it a couple months ago, but after seeing it had the old dos install screens I decided not to install it, thinking the OS would be the same as the old linux distros were.
