So I will be honest - This keyboard does not sound good at all without the EVA Plate Foam. It needs it as a crutch. I've rebuilt this board with multiple switches over multiple times, I just couldn't get it to sound something else besides thin and shallow without EVA Plate Foam. So then I just decided to slap on the loudest switch that I have, which are the AKKO CS Ocean Blues, and pair it with eva foam to tame a bit, as the switches sound very sharp, high pitched and annoying to my ears without the eva foam. Now I think that it sounds comparable to how it sounded with the T1s.
