I live in the Netherlands and love Fort Lauderdale. 25 years ago, We fell in love with Florida. After a Highway robbery in Miami, We finally ended up in Fort Lauderdale. Found a nice condo, on the Intercoastal near Las Olas, and spend every vacation since then in Fort Lauderdale. The water taxi is my favorite way to travel to restaurants and shopping at Las Olas. I visited Ft Lauderdale from December 9-14 2021….& I must say it’s a very beautiful place! I stayed at the Deco Boutique Hotel on Harbor Drive. It was so comforting and relaxed. I can see me living there one day.

In about one month, we are planned to go there. I’m in 9th grade, and my friend may be coming along, so that would obviously be the best vacation ever. I’ve already found a beach front hotel room, and can’t wait!!


Edit: got back about 2 weeks ago, it was so much fun!! All I did was go to the beach with my friend, eat a fantastic lunch, go to the beach again, eat a fantastic dinner, then hang out in our hotel room for the rest of the night. This went on for 6 days in a row.

Wouldn’t mind going back, I definitely should’ve tried the jet skis though.
