How to create custom profile for the Weldments in SOLIDWORKS?

Показать описание
In this video we will show you how to create custom profile for the Weldments in SOLIDWORKS?. So let's get started, to build a custom profile. So we have to start with a sketch so you can start like this, uh, your custom profiles or else you can import the sketches in the format of DWG or DXF files. Here I have taken a sketch, which is already. drawn into the SOLIDWORKS.
I just copy pasted the same sketch into my current profile. As the sketching is completed, we have to save the part into a library feature part. The extension is SLDLFP when it comes to the file saving location. This specific location is the default location for saving the custom weldment profiles. So the location is dependent upon which version of the SOLIDWORKS that you are using.
So choose the current location according to your SOLIDWORKS version. OK, in the location, I'm going to the ISO and I'm creating a new folder called As Custom Profiles. In the custom profile, you have to see the custom profile that you have created in the SOLIDWORKS works. Either you can give the name of the part as a size of the part or else you can give normally. Here I have given Hexagon.
So test this profile. I'm creating a sketch on which the pre-weldment profile will come, so the sketch is completed, and I'm going to the structure member in the structure member, I'm selecting the ISO in the ISO. I'm selecting the custom profile, in the custom profile. I have selected the hexagon. So as we select the hexagon with the path, the profile is created. So this is how you can create a custom profile in the weldment.
