I Made a Custom GitHub Profile README Portfolio (and you can, too)

I made a custom GitHub profile page that’s visually stunning and incredibly easy to make. Because, “all software developers need a portfolio” - this is the title of a video I made 2-3 years ago, and it still holds true. But now, well as of two years ago… but still now, you can easily do that with a custom GitHub Profile README file. It allows you to turn your bland GitHub profile into a beautifully custom, and professional web page like this, that tells the story of your work through your lens, just as I have with mine. And today, I’m going to show you how I created my custom GitHub Profile README, and how you can do it too.

Once you understand how to put the elements into the readme, it's very easy to go wild and make it 100% unique. I would recommend someone use a generator at first, and then read the code it generates, and understand how it works and how you can add elements and remove elements

This is a game changer, I'm not a frontend dev so I did NOT want to make a portfolio website nor did I want to use a website builder!

That's a great way to showcase one's GitHub profile. However I noticed that the alt text for the skill icons all said 'Java'. Might want to update that 😁 This video gave me a lot of ideas, so thank you!
