It’s almost as these names are new and not original and we’re named after plays and religion. Also a strange sense of history they had. It’s almost like the names line up because the people who named them also made the stories

The sea/ocean is west of the structure, not south. The Atlas mountains are so far from it, that you wouldn't even be able to see them 😂
The name of the mountain Atlas come from the greeks and was later adopted by the locals. You need to sit down and read the dialogs again. Whatever other name the locals had for the mountain is not known. In any case, Plato says that for the sake of better understanding, he used greek counterparts of the original names. Place might not have even been called Atlantis in the first place.
