I'm not bothered so much by the resolution, but by the lense type and how they are adjusted.

The panel resolution is the same.
Any game with a dynamic rendering resolution will be rendering at a higher resolution.
Most Quest 2 games are undersampled.

Not the greatest answer.

Due to a more powerful chip, games that were optimised to run on Q3 specifically will have better graphics on Q3S as opposed to Q2.

However, resolution and image clarity are the same because Q3S use the same screen panels and lenses as Q2.

Lenses only affect clarity, not graphics.

BTW, due to lower resolution and same chip, Q3S will perform better than Q3.

Better to skip the Quest 3S and go for the Quest 3. Way better lenses and resolution
