When Shizu tried to strike Kino with his sword for the first time, I noticed he attacked his katana blades's dull part.
Not many people noticed that he really wasn't trying to hurt her there, just testing her.

The old version of this fight was way better also the characters seems to be nerfed here both Kino and Shizu were way stronger in the old one.

Shizu's new character design really bothers me... he looks way too much like kino (the new one), just a bit taller...

I love how the new kino looks. Wonder why she uses boku though. I haven't seen the new version of this series but I would love to see a remake with updated animation. There's one arc I really want to see again and that's the one where she saves a bunch of slave traders who she didn't know were slave traders. The very same people ate the slaves they had as cargo and then they tried to enslave kino after she saved them. I really want to see that arc again.
