I feel so bad for marie antoinette! Marie antoinette honestly wanted to live in a small village with common life (though it was probably romanticized😅) she was also very kind to her staff and also the poor. But unfortunately she was led in the dark by her advisors on what was really happening in her country, and they were told the people loved them and should love them. Even if it is something said by Marie Antoinette, it is highly possible that there was no malicious intention. Marie was never meant to be queen, it was just by chance when her sister’s face was ruined because of Small Pox.
