yeah it doesn't matter, the sentiment stands, and the difference between rich and poor is greater now than it was then. just saying.

Someone commented ‘I can’t afford cake’ and she replied with ‘but you can afford a phone?’

My reaction is ‘Meh’ there are worse influencers out there that for some reason don’t face so much criticism so the world is crazy and this just not matters

She probably said that due to her outfit, it's not that deep y'all.

it’s just an audio that’s not even her saying it💀💀

Haley Baylee hate was crazy and unnecessary. That trend has been done by many.

It really wasn’t that deep I think it just made people realize her whole “relatable” persona was an act. That woman is not like everyone else, she pays $17, 000 a month for rent and can afford to do whatever she wants.

Haley Bailey is known for her social media character of a millionaire totally disconnected from the peasants of the real world, so the phrase really fits the vibe and was in all likelihood a deliberate reference !

I've been following her for a long time, she often makes rather eccentric videos with celebrities to become famous, but now she has highlighted a really acute social problem and this time she couldn't walk on thin ice
So i understand where all these hate comments come from

Y’all hating for no reason, might as well cancel each and every other influencer who did this trend if u want to cancel hailey

She doesn't deserve all those awful hates, she was literally only using a sound that she thinks vibes her look, she never had the intention to look down or be rude to poverty issue

I think she had poor judgment to choose that phrase when she is attending an elite event. I mean the context of that phrase...

Honestly the apology caused more controversy than the original video...

I feel so bad for marie antoinette! Marie antoinette honestly wanted to live in a small village with common life (though it was probably romanticized😅) she was also very kind to her staff and also the poor. But unfortunately she was led in the dark by her advisors on what was really happening in her country, and they were told the people loved them and should love them. She was out of touch but i dont think she was a monster. Let the woman lie in peace.

Stop sucking up to influencers and celebrities, simple.

Even if it is something said by Marie Antoinette, it is highly possible that there was no malicious intention. Marie was never meant to be queen, it was just by chance when her sister’s face was ruined because of Small Pox. Never privy to appropriate education, she would have been just a naive to think that “cake/brioche” was available to everyone.

Idk man but it's quite distasteful (no pun intended lol)

Stop making something out of nothing 😐 yall are just bullies, it’s a tik tok audio that everyone uses, she just thought it would work as she’s dressed as Marie Antoinette, no one else received hate but her, why don’t you cancel the person that made the audio and everyone that uses it then…

Fun fact, Mary Antoinette was actually an avid supporter of charity work. I think she organized soup kitchens and things like that, but I know she started a lot of charitable programs, and things like that.

She tried being relatable so hard, and then cracked.
