Happy Holidays! 2014 is quickly drawing to a close, wynaut end it with some Mystery Dungeon? I've been meaning to do this one for awhile now :]

Crawling through victory road over 3 days, working through the puzzles, seeing the final events of reborn, all with this playing in the background was a wonderful experience, and I wish I could have it for the first time again

This song is truly Dusknoir's theme. The sense of despair and loss that it provides perfectly captures his character. Dusknoir was not an evil character. He just didn't want to fade away. To him, Grovile wasn't saving the past, he was destroying the present. As horrible as the paralyzed planet was, Dusknoir still couldn't bear the thought of dying with nobody to remember him, and so he threw his lot with primal Dialga. When you reach the Hidden highlands, and this song starts playing, you know that there can only be one Pokémon waiting at the end.

Coming back to this one after finishing Reborn's main story. What a fantastic choice for Victory Road. Having one of my favorite dungeon themes combined with Sanctuary was always a treat and having that be playing at the climax of one of my all-time favorite pokemon games was absolutely wonderful.

This is the Victory Road theme from Pokémon Reborn, and it fits that place so well..
It also just fits the Explorers games very well, with how many attempts it took me to trawl through the Hidden Land and Hidden Highland, with Temporal Tower - the site of the final battle - looming above.

Charous Mine... the birthplace of the Crystal Keys, a formerly sacred site deconsecrated by the League.
The atmosphere, the battles, the challenge - for all intents and purposes the conclusion of a very personal journey to me.
Perfection, right down to the very last drop.

Hands down Pokemon Mystery Dungeon sky, darkness, and time had the most sad storyline. PMDBR and PMDRR were so good as well, but ugh! I just love the landscape in PMDS/PMDD/and PMDT

Ok so the medium gem has less foliation than Amethyst, which has less foliation than the hexagonal gem, and Sapphire has less luster than the second hardest gem, which has less luster than the pure gem, and the habit of the vitreous gem is less than the habit of the small gem, which is less than the habit of the hard gem, and I've been here for over an hour but at least the music slaps

I love when you remix Mystery Dungeon themes :D Red Rescue team was oddly my second pokemon game and is still one of my favorites. Gave it too my younger brother and I play explorers of sky now. Still has the same nostalgic feeling.
