This is one of my favorite OSTs in the game. It's serious because you have an important mission to do but it's also sad because you know what will happen after you'll defeat Primal Dialga: you'll die.
The best part of the song is from 00:57 to 01:14. That part sounds like hope and ends with a bass sound, like in that moment you stopped dreaming and realized that it won't go as you hope.
This game made my childhood.

I started tearing up when listening to it, a very strong emotionnal reaction, and i couldnt explain why, until i read the other comments and remember that it's the music of when you're about to fight to save everyone but you. And as a child, it was an act as terrifying as it was making me feel proud. I'd forgot that.

This score has a lot of meanings

It belongs to one of the last dungeons in the game, so of course it has a vibe of approaching the end. It also takes place in what's essentially a godly realm so it also has a mystique vibe of being in a hidden fantastic yet dangerous land

However, with the plot of the game of needing to stop the planet's time paralysis to happen is taken into account, also being given taints of hurry in the bells that rings.

All of that, and yet there's more, as once this mission's is over you'll stop existing as you come from a future where that time paralysis has happened so by stopping it you will no longer exist. Another thing in this theme that's represented, you can feel existential dread and wondering in it.
