Nandy defends Rayner and dodges questions on Labour's second home ownership plans

Shadow minister Lisa Nandy has defended Labour's deputy leader Angela Rayner as controversy surrounding her living arrangements continues.
Questions have been circulating over the sale of an ex-council house she previously owned in Stockport, having been accused of avoiding capital gains tax - something she has denied.
When asked about second homes more broadly, Ms Nandy said Labour's plan is about trying to "tilt the balance of power back towards first time buyers and people who own their own homes to live in".
However, she dodged questions about what policies they will put in place around second homes for those who have invested to contribute to their pension pots, for example.
