I never realized it was a Buddy Holly song, I just remember being blown away the first time we listed to the album in a basement.

I first got to know the Santana version from their acclaimed "Inner Secrets" album. Later realized that Blind Faith and Buddy Holly had done a verdion prior to that.

Always wondered why G.B. maintained that Ric Grech was the weak link in Blind faith as he sounds perfect for the Buddy Holly 1st part of this and real good on the famous, jazzy rideout to this great cover.
