I did it! Batteries were $10 for two. First one took 1hr. Second one took 20 minutes. Wife thought I was crazy to attempt this. Tip - Before sliding the new battery in take out the shim that keeps the battery snug in the chamber. It is not needed and without it the battery slides all the way in easier. Thanks for the video!

So funny how Apple and Samsung claim everything on environmental friendly greenwashing and then make them 99% impossible for a layman to repair anything so you have to either pay more for repair your old devices or you're better off buying a total new one. this is why i admire your video so much, there's always a way

This is absolutely nuts. It doesn't even seem like it require much fancy equipment other than a hot air station, plus a soldering iron and some kind of homemade clamp. I can't imagine how many must've been broken just to perfect this repair. Bravo REWA!

Amazing great work! Can't imagine the stress while working with soldering iron in that small place and not damaging plastic body of the Airpod and i dont even talk about of that flex cable on the metal "cap". Great video !

Everyone says its not repairable probably because they don't have the patient to remove the adhesive and not destroy the case. REWA on the other hand is a legend :) for figuring out a way to repair them.
