I have helped hundreds of people pass their B2 First exam at no cost, and I would LOVE to keep it that way. Of course, I still have to maintain a full time job while running this channel, and BELIEVE ME, I spend the majority of my free time writing, recording, editing and publishing videos. I love doing this, but I would love it even more if I could do it for a living!
If every student that PASSED their exams bought one beer for Bruce I’d be able to do this full time. That would be MARVELLOUS!
So, if you’ve PASSED your B2 First exam, and feel that SMASH English really helped, please consider donating here:

This is not an obligation. One of the fantastic things about SMASH English is that it is free for everyone that needs it! This will not change. However, if you do feel you can say thanks with a little bit of money then that’s fantastic.
Thank you all!
Toby.

Hello, Toby! Just wanted to ask whether you are planning on making more videos about the C1 Advanced Writing Paper in the future? Best regards from an avid viewer 👋
PS. Just donated to your channel via the link in the description and I highly recommend others do so as well!

This site is a great asset! The only thing I don't like about it, is that I've to wait for such a long time before a new video is uploaded.

Hi, Toby! I made you a donation and you have mentioned my nickname on the latest videos. I'm glad I could help you just a little and it is a way to show you my gratitude to your amazing job!

So, about the examples on the video:
Ex: The sky is gray, it is going to rain is a prediction based on evidence, so that's why we are supposed to use 'going to'
Remember to bring your umbrella! It'll be raining tomorrow, perhaps, it's more based on the person's belief that's why we should use 'will'...I'm not so sure about it.

Hugs from Brazil!

Tony, would it be a good idea to answer the question, "Tell me about your daily routine" with "I'll get up at 8 o'clock, then I'll have breaakfast, ...." in a Cambridge exam, or would it be better and/or safer to use the present simple? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the video. I've already known about most of the usability of the "will" but you still was able to surprise me with some new information!

P.S. Someone bought 3 beer for bruces.
My monthly payment to my internet teacher and a great guy - Toby. Cheers, bro.

P.P.S. Forgot to mention my nickname there - Nunaromedus =___=

Thanks sir for this wonderful explanation but i have some questions... Could i use will in this way??

Mm today i have appointment with the doctor.. but i don't think he will arrive (yet) there now

To light up my example that what i want to ask i can say "He must not arrive right now" that's what i want to say but with will can i use??

And what about this examples?

1) Don't call her she will be cooking right now OR don't call her she must be cooking right now

And suppose my brother left to go to school and i want to say that he hasn't got there(school)... Can i say "Mm he won't get there (yet)
