06 - Adding and Subtracting Polynomials, Part 1

Learn how to add and subtract polynomials in Algebra. The basic concept is to add like terms or subtract like terms. In this case a like terms are terms that have the same polynomial exponents in the variable x. After the terms are combined by either adding or subtracting, we say that polynomial expression is simplified.
