In my long life I've never really understood why subtracting a negative gives a positive. I've tried to visualize the negative positive scale diagram ... but the concept of a "debt" as a minus being removed to give a positive makes sense. Where were you Mr. J when I needed you fifty years ago?

I had 96/100 in 6th grade when I studied this, in the ending of 7th grade covid pandemic hit and I lost touch with studies, now I am in 10th struggling with the basics which I didn't revise in the past due to online schools.
