I made the kit and found it quite simple to assemble. The online instruction is quite good and if you are new to soldering or are introducing children to making their own electronics, it is a good beginner kit. It is always satisfying to put something together and it actually works....hooray!

Just finished putting mine together. Was kind of disappointed that there was just two sketches to use with it. Was hoping for an explanation on what each the knobs do and how it changes the sound. Also very hard to tell which one is A0, A1, etc… some labels on top of shield wouldve been helpful

I know you make a synth in the end, but first you make an independently functional UNO right? This looks like a great gift for my kid but I want to make sure he can use it for stuff ok outside of the synth too
