Far away, on the other side of the world, lies the largest uninhabited island in the Pacific Island. Until quite recently the island was called home by a tribe who even had their own language. But one day they decided to just abandon the island. But why? This is the story of the world's most mysterious island. #shorts

I saw a documentary on it. It’s super duper hard to get to but some centuries back a Spaniard ship stayed there to recover. Most of the men didn’t want to leave.

Long story short they stayed, procreated with the small population of locals. But with no new people coming onto the island majority (but not all) of all inhabitants have died out.

The few that have survived have to rely on Government to help sustain them ie. Edible & non-edible staples & fuel for 4 wheelers

I doubt it's cursed. I didn't want kids to vandalize our local park so I started rumors it's haunted by the creek due to a kid slipping and falling there and sure enough, kids now show up to look for ghosts instead of tearing things down.

Quite frankly I'm MORE surprised a wealthy investor isn't exploiting the land, more than I'm surprised they left because of the cannibalism...
