The history of optical fibers goes back much further than John Tyndall, the man who first described the greenhouse effect

Reason has to once again ascend into supremacy. Madness is taking us straight to hell.

One day humanity will be wise and strong enough to criminalize those that use children for political manipulation.

Tony. Whilst playing this video my 90 year old mum said “He has a nice voice”. “I can hear something nice in his voice, I really can."

Kids & dad conversation....
Hey dad, I'm terrified of global warming. We need to do something .

Sure thing kids.
Click.... Mains power off.
Car You need to walk everywhere. Including finding your own way to school.
Holiday flight to Fiji cancelled.
.... But dad I have no Internet. We can't Google anything and can't get on Facebook.... And now my phones flat...

It's OK kids, here, read this book.
.... Dad, surely there is another way to reduce your carbon footprint ....

Sure, you kids should move out, pay your own bills, be responsible adults.

... No, seriously Turn the power back

Parents need to stand up to these teachers and school systems that push these unprovable scientific climate theories.

Sorry, Tony. Most School teachers worship at the altar of the "Almighty Consensus." They are blessed with money, job security, and often, tenure. All you offer is the truth.... something that they do not value in the least.

God has made countless wonders for us to behold and appreciate. A look into microbiology reveals mind-blowing design and function. Thanks for the commentary, Tony.

I had o clue fiber optics went back that far. I should have probably, because I had as a kid looked through blocks of such "stringy" minerals (like eisenglass?) and realized that this was not the same as looking through actual transparent glass. Anyway, this was fascinating as always.

In 1968 John Deere undated their very popular model 4020 tractor. One of the updates was a fiberoptic tachometer needle. Gone was the light on the dash. Just 8 years earlier they were just ending production of their famous 2 cylinder tractors which got their initial start in 1914. It fascinating how sometimes technology can take big leaps, like a Deere.

It was actually Joseph Fourier who first explained the greenhouse effect found in actual greenhouses. The greenhouse effect of climate science doesn't exist, and Fourier also demonstrated that.

Very interesting Prof. Heller. Keep'em coming. The occasional alternate science spots I mean. Loved high school physics and earth space science classes. Two teachers that really loved their subjects made a great experience. Useful knowledge I think could describe the classes, especially the physics class. Thx.

Optical fiber cameras are fun, in fact I’ve always wanted to feature an eye on the end of my index finger. That way I could look in my pocket, have a peak round life’s blind corners, or otherwise see who’s coming up behind me, a nice feature if you’re like me, a conservative without eyes on the back of your head.
