Easy Sourdough Pizza Dough | Sourdough Discard Recipe

I’ll show you how to make the best sourdough pizza dough! This recipe is so easy and these pizzas freeze really well so you can have homemade pizza anytime. You can use any toppings you like. I’ll be using Miyoko’s liquid vegan mozzarella so this recipe is entirely vegan!

Recipe (Yields 5 pizzas)
500g bread flour (approximately 3 cups + 2 Tbs)
2 tsp himalayan pink salt
1 Tbs white sugar
3 Tbs olive oil
2 Tbs unfed starter
1 ½ cups room temperature water
Bake at 450 deg F for 7-9 minutes until cheese is bubbly

I made many many starters and they all failed. I tried yours and it so good, it blew off the lid on my bowl. I a sour dough baker now. Thanks Rosie yours was so simple all the way around 😂❤❤❤

Just what I was looking for - I love the method of using cold, unfed starter whenever possible. I actually tried a similar baking trick, only in reverse … placing the dough into a hot cast iron pan, immediately assembling, then popping it under the broiler to finish = one pan.

I've only tried my liquid cheese copycat recipe from google lol. I'm excited to try this. Typically I'll prebake my crusts lightly so I can store, freeze, and use them whenever I want. Can I do this with this recipe?

Hi Rosie, quick question... I live in a very humid and warm place. Is it possible to lower the fermentation time on this or do a few hours at room temperature and then put it in the fridge? My other dough attempts get SUPER sticky and unworkable if I follow traditional fermentation times.

Made your recipe yesterday and put it in fridge overnight and today it feels very wet and super sticky 😢I will try adding a bit more flour when it comes to room temperature and will think of a backup plan for grandkids if this doesn’t work 🤞
