Advise from an architect:

1. Start with an “everything is possible” mentality.

2. A LOT of presidents, exploring possibilities.

3. Create an extremely clear concept.

4. Create a few rules for your concept and stick to your concept throw every decision.

5. Make a few exceptions from the rules when needed that fits the site and context.

6. Remember the poetic and mysterious side. That is as important as the rational.

I've found that writing has been super helpful for me and I wish I did more in my undergrad. There is always clutter in my head that I need to get out by writing my thoughts, feelings, and ideas. I have an infinite google doc and a journal with randomness

That was quite a relatable content! Personally I find design inspirations from site elements and context, and sometimes even from Exhibitions and Installations of varied Artists, the Conceptual process is always quite intriguing for me.
