For anyone watching this while using Blender 2.8, Alt+C shortcut has been removed in 2.8, so to find "Curve to Mesh" thingy, in Object Mode, select your Curve and press Object on top left of viewport, and head down to "Convert To" and press "Curve from Mesh/Text".

The robot voice is just fine, ... the slow steps are whats MOST important for beginners like me. Please do not change anything!

Finally, a tutorial with clear instructions, clean presentation, no waste of time and waiving unnesessary digressions and explanations. Well spoken, understandable for people who do not speak Englisch as their first language and above all, no self-portrayals of a mentor. In the end, you also have a result you are satisfield with. THANK YOU / DANKE

Thank you for the tutorial. It is not bad, but there are still artifacts after you applied all the modifiers. There are best tutorials. However I didn't give you a dislike, because it remains a valid way for stitching.

Thanks, i had forgotten the propper method. I had some test model, but couldnt find them. Though i have issues this time with fit curve. This used to work fine, properly only works on a closed curve

Thank you Microsoft Sam, perfect pace for me.

For intermediate users, they use a single stitch with an array modifier and a curve; a crease on the model for extra detail.

Tut is great for begginers tho.

A few comments on this:
1: I don't understand why you insist on applying your modifiers - the whole point with modifiers (and Subsurf in particular) is that it's non-destructive and you can easily go back to previous steps. For seams in particular, it would be useful to be able to reduce the subsurface amount in case you are rendering from a further distance.
2: Instead of guessing the amount of array indices you need to fit the curve, just change fit type to "fit curve". Optionally, you can set the "path/curve deform" propety of the curve to "stretch", so that the seams always fit perfectly.

Other than that it was informative, i didn't know about the CTRL+T command. Useful!
