How to define the biblical worldview.

Often, when I refer to historical Christianity or a biblical worldview, progressives object: Well, which one? There are many different denominations, and none of the Christians can agree on what is "biblical." So how do we define a biblical worldview? In this short video, Dr. Everett Piper gives his view.

Great show Alisa. The Biblical worldview gives us the option in a judeo Christian belief system to believe in our Divine Creator similar to the Secular Worldview which leaves a biblical creation out of their belief system . We thank God for creating us who has a plan and purpose for our lives . God our creator is a God of order with a plan and purpose for everyone human life giving us the freedom to believe in the biblical worldview. Keep up the good work Alisa.

Every Christian should agree on a Biblical worldview. If we don't, then the problem is with us not with the Bible. Too many Christians dont know their Bible.

Dr Piper didn’t really answer the subject in the title of this video. Alisa was probably raising things like which *doctrines* are essential to be a bonafide “Christian Worldview”. Dr Piper just used what some ludicrously think is the “gotcha” argument against postmodernism: “do you absolutely believe there are no absolutes”. This is pretty strawman.

Is capitalism the biblical economic system? It seems like Jesus, per the bible, would say that it's bad, but isn't capitalism fundamentally American, and thus, fundamentally godly?

To me Biblical Christianity is to believe in the inerrant Word of God.

If it looks contradictory pray for understanding and research it. Study harder. Seek and you will find. Don't just take the popular view.

Why should anyone be impressed that Jesus asked people questions? The "Socratic Method" was developed hundreds of years before Jesus. Jesus was "the smartest guy who ever walked the face of the earth?" Not smarter than Socrates, apparently.
