Great list! I'm also hyped for GWT El Paso, Minos, Skara Brae, and Black Forest. I'll have to check out Middle Ages too.

Other most-anticipated games for me...

Ones I backed: Tabriz, Cyclades Legendary Edition, Rebirth, Illiad & Ichor, Everdell Duo, Railroad Tiles, ORBIT
Others: Big Sur, Galactic Cruise, does SETI count since I think it's not quite to retail in US?
I've also seen several announcements for duel games. Azul Duel... another from a popular franchise I can't remember.

Black Forest- Yes! Rosenberg has become my fav designer, so I'm stoked for this. I was lucky enough to get a pre-order copy of the new Yokohama with deluxe bits. It is fantastic and has been played every game session for the last 3 or 4 weeks. The deluxe metal coins are a bit disappointing, but the wooden resources do look and feel nice. I use a Japanese theme coin set I got from Etsy for this game.

I've been really interested in trying GWT, the El Paso sounds interesting too, would you think this could be a great introduction to the GWT'iverse? 😝

Oh man…if they can reduce the complexity and play time of GWT, I’m all for that. I have GWT 2d, enjoy it but doesn’t get played because I don’t like teaching it.

Hmm I’ll have to look into GWT El Paso. First I’d heard of it. I’m all for games with shorter playtimes that still have meaty decisions.

Coincidentally I just played Black Forest yesterday. Don’t think it was for me but I can certainly see the appeal for gamers who like Uwe’s resource conversion games.
