Spot on. Dynamic do a non chronograph but unfortunately prices are now rising and there doesn't seem to be that many available.
Got a silver 120m seamaster from Japan a few years back, paid the import tax, got it serviced and new link added and still cost less than £600. I believe it as an 1120 movement which is based on 2892. Built like a tank, really accurate, comfortable and never worry about wearing it.

I always thought that bicompax meant it had two complications like a chronograph with a date function. Compax being short for complication.

You can get a Seamaster 200m pre-bond way under $1000 if you don’t mind the quartz movement. For an extra 200-300 you can even bag the two-tone version with a 18k gold bezel and crown.

Omega watches are beautiful but way too expensive. I don’t want an automatic nor mechanical watch, Quartz is just as good and way more practical if you want to change between several watches. And Omega sport watches are mostly automatic hence pricey.

I'd take any omega over any rolex any day. Never liked anything that Rolex has ever made.

The Moonsswatches from Swatch are awful, just as any other watch made from their "bioceramic" materials, it's prone to scratch super easy and unfortunately such materials also get brittle over time if not kept in a tempered environment constantly, then it'll act like plastic.

They are not affordable to most of your viewers. Just say less expensive. Also with today's CNC there's not anything inherently special with the cases unless they are made with gold. All done by computer CNC now even Rolex. I seriously hope the watch economy corrects itself soon. Watches including Rolex were attainable by most people until recent decades.
