I've skied all over the world and the best technical skiers I've ever seen were in Japan. They take it seriously over there. In the USA it's all about having fun. In Japan it's all about doing it right.

I agree, i love the silence usually during a chairlift ride, fresh cold air, sun, the ski and snowboard scratching the surface sound is damped by the snow. Of course, there is also the windy and ice cold version, when the weather is not so great.

We visited Gala Yuzawa in late 2017, had a great time at the snow.
Will be travelling up to Hokkaido at the end of this year to have a taste of the Ski Resorts up there.

First I really love your video. Second I have never laughed so hard in one of your videos. And you said just because I pick the ski resort doesn't mean I know how to ski something like that.. stop the video because I was laughing so hard. I figured you have skied for. Third every time you fall down I was worried you get hurt. Fourth when you were coming back in so fast I seriously thought you were going to skied into some ppl. The scenery was beautiful. Food look good. Well looks like toward the end you work becoming good at skiing. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself there. Thanks for the video.
