Tilt-Shift Lens! What are they and what do they do?

Today’s all about experimenting with tilt-shift lenses—specialized tools that take photography to another level by controlling focus and perspective in ways standard lenses can’t. These lenses let you tilt the plane of focus, so you can have both something close and something far away in focus at the same time. Perfect for scenes with layered depth or creative compositions.

The shift function, on the other hand, is a game-changer for architectural shots, correcting perspective distortions like leaning buildings or helping with panoramas. I’m heading out into the fog with a 24mm and 90mm tilt-shift lens to see what these beauties can do.
