An increase in social security is great. However, every time we get an increase in social security, Medicare increases the amount for our insurance.
I barely make it throughout the months. Food comes from the food banks. Grocery prices keep going up. Food stamps on social security are 14.00 to 36.00 a month. So I hope everything else is not going to go up.

I have an idea, instead of flushing ba ba billions of dollars down the toilet in Ukraine use that Money to fully fund Social security. To the Congress members and Seniors that sent BILLIONS of dollars to waste in Ukraine don't ever say we don't have money for Social security or Veterans 🤨

10 years ago if you asked me when i would retire i would have laughed and said never. well due to heart failure that all changed, i recently had to retire as i could no longer perform my job duties at work, now i am living on my SS retirement benefits, this is a hard pill to swallow, but it is fact, it happens, i only wish i could work as hard as i could when i was younger, it makes me sad, i am just glad that i had SS to fall back on, it is not a lot of money but it is not welfare either, i paid into the system for 45 years so getting some back is nice.

A business should be slapped with a painfully severe penalty if it pays the CEO 2, 000x more than it's lowest paid employee, let alone the friggin' average.
