As far as what to feed, if it’s kept outdoors, it will catch all that it needs. Indoors though you can feed your flytrap one to two live insects per month you can feed flies, spiders, crickets and slugs, or mealworms are appropriate during the growing season (spring and summer). The live food triggers the hairs on the traps letting it know that it’s something good to eat and stay closed to digest.

I remember my mom had one she kept in our kitchen window and the dirty dishes coupled with an open window we never had to feed it 🤣. It just got fed naturally

❤krystal ❤ you don't need to feed them live if they are in door.
-buy dried meal worms
-crush/ blend them I'm coffee grinder
- add distilled water about apple sauce consistency
- grab toothpick
- feed and trigger the trap.
- carefully massage the leave to trigger digestive process.
