I have a 2015 XLT with the 2.7 and it’s been great 286, 000 miles and still going!

Bought a new F-150 with the 2.7 in 2018. Put on 97, 000 miles with zero problems. Traded it in for 2021 2.7, which now has 40, 000 miles on it. And zero problems. The 2.7 is a fantastic motor!

I always found it funny how crap gm talked about Ford using a V6. Fast forward a handful of years and they are putting a 4 banger in the Silverado.

I have a 2016 F150 2.7 eco boost with 130k miles. 110k miles of that is with a 6" lift, 35" tires, 4:56 gears, Highway Product truck cap, Deck tool box, a front and rear Fab Four bumper, and a Firestone air compressor to include air bags in the rear. I tow about 7k-8k pounds on a weekly basis, and the most is 12k. I average about 16-18MPG in the city and 20-22MPG on the highway without the trailer. With the trailer 11-13 MPG.. This by far, has been the best truck I have ever owned and I work this truck just as hard as my old 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. The only issue I have had is the backup camera, which acts up here and there.

when the chevy started up, it sounded like a portable tire inflator pump that runs off your cigarette lighter

The reason the ford 2.7 is so good is, because it was designed by a racing car company from Germany from top to bottom.

I have a 2019 ford f150 with 2.7 and 10 speed. 75k miles and couldn’t be happier.

The Ford 2.7 is one of their best engines. Just look at any YouTube comments on this engine, nothing but praise.

Chevy guy myself but I must say the 2.7 ecoboost in our work trucks are a blast. Very powerful

Biggest difference:
The 2.7L ecoboost has stood the test of time. It's durability is proven.
The 2.7L turbomax has a lot to live up to.

Drove the Silverado 2.7 and f150 2.7 ecoboost today back to back. I was very disappointed with Silverado 2.7... didnt feel like it had the 435 torque and felt way underpowered... On the other side I was blown away with the performance and mpg of f150 2.7 and bought the f150 same day!!

Love my 2019 F150 STX. I did quite a bit of research on the available engines and decided on the 5.0 Coyote. I've gotten 17 city and 26 highway with the 10 speed auto. Put it in sport mode and the truck turns into a rocket ship. Could not be happier!

Had a 2018STX 2.7 and loved the power along with the fuel economy. Traded in for a 2022 Lariet and opted for the same 2.7 and has had zero issues and still plenty of power for me. Note, I don’t tow so that was considered and why I chose the 2.7.

Problem with Chevy 2.7 is it's only direct injection causing intake valve to get carbon build up and ford uses port and direct injection to avoid this problem

I have owned both and I would highly recommend the Ford 2.7.

My Dad worked at Ford and I went to a Ford Dealer out of high school 34 years later still there, it just makes more sense for me to buy Ford, A plan, parts discounts, and if I don’t know something, I can just ask someone at my dealer for help! I never liked the looks of the chevy trucks.

The first American, car company, to start small displacement, twin turbo, standard output. Was Ford and it seems like everybody’s following, that trend.

My 2022 Chevy custom 2.7 is pretty good with 20, 000 miles. It’s all on your foot for Feul economy and speed. Chevy or Ford can’t go wrong either one. Small engines powerful and decent Feul. ✌️
